“Getting our frontline supervisors and mid-level managers to make JR and JI a part of their everyday routines is hard.”  These words are often heard in companies that have decided to follow the TWI path.

Sustaining Job Relations and Job Instruction requires courage, creativity, and open-mindedness…and a multifaceted, systems-level approach on the part of those charged with making TWI the foundation of leadership excellence.

This session will review the TWI framework for sustaining Job Relations and Job Instruction, provide ideas for tactics and tools for doing so, and offer up stories from the sustainment front lines.

About the Presenter:

Boyd Rice is Vice President – Global Lean Performance System at S&C Electric Company.  He has spent over 30 years in the electronic and electrical equipment industries during which time he gained extensive experience in the application of quality and lean principles to new product development, manufacturing, and service processes.  He is a senior member of the American Society for Quality.

Mr. Rice is currently responsible for lean activities at S&C.
