Session Abstract |
The presentation will demonstrate how to
take TWI (JI/JR) from a theoretical application
to a practical implementation. Mike will share
his partnership with HEB; how he led them to
incorporate TWI into their companies strategy;
how they were able to get top management support
which was critical to their success; and the
incredibly effective approach they used to
select departments that would ultimately own the
process. Lastly, they will share the train the
trainer process that led to substantial business
results.
The TWI-JI method of training has since expanded
to other teams and locations outside the pilot
area with great success, leveraging the work
that was done in the pilot area. Aera now has
four internal master trainers and has trained 91
employees in the JI process, many of whom are
using it on a frequent basis to train new hires
as well as experienced employees.
